What a perfect activity for a playgroup meeting or a Parents night out! In-home classes are an increasingly popular options for playgroups and other smaller groups of parents. For workshops, hosting families who can confirm at least 6 paying families get their class free in exchange for hosting the class. This is a greatway to get your class for free or at a deep discount for your entire group, and you get to choose the time, day and location that is most convenientfor YOU!
Parent Workshop at Home- To host an in-home workshop, all the hosting family needs is a TV, a VCR, enough seating for your guests, and sufficient lighting. If your TV and VCR are not conveniently located to where you want your guests seated, we can bring a portable combo unit.

Sign, Sing, and Play Series at Home- In-home Sing, Sign and Play classes require a large room with few distractions. We suggest a large living room rec. room, or church community room as good choices of location. $600 group rate
This 6 week series is $100 per week, and can accomodate up to 10 families, depending on the size of your space. At public classes, families normally pay $100 to attend this series, but as a group, if you have more than 6 families the cost goes down a lot with each additional enrollee. Sign-a-Story Circle Time for 1st or 2nd Birthday Party- How do you entertain a bunch babies who are more likely to be terrified than delighted by the usual clowns and costumed characters? Our Sign-a-Story Circle Time is the perfect diversion for your little guests and thier parents. Not only will they be entertained, but they will learn some useful signs at the same time! Parents who attend these events at the libraries tell us that they have never seen babies and toddlers so completely engaged in a story-time activity. Baby Sign Language Basics is available to come to you! This is a great option for childcare programs, church parenting groups, etc.
Parent/ Teacher-focused workshops- 21/2 hours
This fun and interactive class is a perfect introduction on how to sign with babies and toddlers. In this class, participants learn how signing benefits young children, including enhancing verbal communication reducing frustration and behavioral problems, and easing separation anxiety. Participants will learn how to include signing meaningfully with children by enhancing verbal interactions with sign during the course of daily routines, playtime and music. Participants learn and practice approximately 50 signs during the course of various activities. Handouts included.
$320 flat rate for up to 24 attendees. Additional attendees may attend for $15, space permitting. $40 per couple/single (individual rate for small groups)
Sign, Sing, and Play! Classes This parent tot class is offered in 6 weekly 45 minute sessions . Parents or childcare providers and children will learn signing strategies and practice signs through songs and large and small group play. Approximatly 10 minutes of lecture included per class. Come sing, sign and play with us! Min. 2-1 child/adult ratio is necessary to get the most out of this class.

Sign-a-Story Circle Time This 20-30 minute program combines stories, songs, fingerplays, and American Sign Language into a super-fun program for infant-preschool age children. We perform this program at numerous city and county libraries each month and we would be happy to bring it to your facility. We can even custom taylor the theme to your curriculum!
